Randolph Elmentary Students Donate Nearly $1000 To CCHS
Friday, April 16, 2021
Students in Mrs. Katherine Beaver and Mrs. Sarah Rosing's 6th grade classes at the Randolph Elementary School worked hard to raise $961.91 (that's 96,191 pennies!) for the Chautauqua County Humane Society's (CCHS) Pennies 4 Paws Campaign that ends on April 30th. That's a huge boost to the Pennies 4 Paws campaign's goal of collecting 1,000,000 pennies to help the pets that rely on CCHS essential services every day. CCHS Partnership Director Brian Papalia said, "These kids and their teachers did an amazing job with this penny drive. We are so grateful to receive this kind of support from the community and want them to know that these pennies are going to change a lot lives. I also would like to give special acknowledgement to Mrs. Beaver for not only spearheading this drive year after year, but instilling the ideals of community involvement into these children."
